Offering a terrace and views of the garden, La Maïoun Guesthouse is situated in Nice in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur Region, 500 metres from the beach. The hostel is lovely, very cute with plenty of space. The owner is awesome, the curtained beds are fantastic, the bathroom was always clean, the location is good, and breakfast was solid (especially when their was homemade cake!).

We are very happy that we stayed in “La Grande Maison”. It was a very warm welcome. A comfortable bed, quiet in the room, delicious croissants for breakfast. Very cosy apartment in the mountains, with a super friendly host. She gave us a welcome drink, re-made our beds (we wanted 2 single beds), gave us good advice about some places nearby and generally had a great chat with her. The breakfast was amazing too. We had a stroll in the evening and stumbled on an industrial site for perfumes, that was an interesting experience. In the morning she recommended a perfume factory to visit and so we did, and it was really worth it!

Loved this place and very comfortable, bright, and well decorated room. Staff were very friendly and bicycle storage was great. It was modern and spotlessly clean and the hosts have thought about every detail to make your stay a memorable one. Breakfast was copious with delicious homemade preserves, yoghurts and pastries plus cold meats and cheeses, all washed down with freshly brewed coffee. Be sure to book an evening meal if you can. Chrystel is an amazing chef and Laurent has a fabulous wine cellar and is extremely knowledgeable about the industry.
